Intro

The Royal National Mòd is Scotland’s premier Gaelic festival celebrating culture and heritage, with concerts, ceilidhs, highland dancing, instrumental, drama, sport and literature.

Background

Originally designed in 2020, the festival had to hit pause because of Covid, pushing it back to 2023.

We created a fresh new look with designs featuring Paisley’s iconic pattern — think ferns swirling in that classic style, but with a modern, forward-looking twist.

The fern pattern was complimented with a simple, classic sans-serif  word mark that was created specifically for the festival.

It’s a perfect match for Renfrewshire Council’s vision of blending tradition with a bright and exciting future.
