Key provide personalised support and housing for people with disabilities and long-term conditions throughout Scotland.

The Key identity hadn’t changed in over 30 years – as a result it looked badly dated, had legibility issues and was no longer appropriate for their services or audience.

What we created:

  • Branding and logo design
  • Publication and brochure design

We developed a simple, bold and memorable new identity, based on a stylised human figure that is also a house door key. Feedback from staff, board and trustees was that it perfectly captured the human and friendly nature of the organisation.

There are three versions in total, covering the Key group,  Key Support and Key Housing.

Working alongside Haiwyre on our refreshed visual identity was a very positive experience for us. We are delighted with our new branding and feel it perfectly captures our ethos and values.

On completion of the new identity, we worked with Key’s in-house communications team to produce a series of templates, graphics and guidelines for InDesign, Word and PowerPoint so they could easily use and adapt to create a suite of publications and materials.
